The horrible truth about heavy TV viewers are twice as likely to be obese

Studies show that TV makes you fat

This large amount of time looking past still on a screen is as dangerous to your health and girth. Many studies have shown an association between television viewing and obesity. Most striking were several studies published in the American Journal of Public Health. These studies found that people who are three or more hours of television per day were observed almost twice as likely to be obese than people who watched at least an hour a day. Men, women and children had similar results. The size of the men, women and children are victims of their habit of watching TV.

40 studies, the observation of children's television, the relative weight Found

Review of 40 recent studies of television and childhood obesity, a Kaiser Permanente study found a clear relationship between the amount of time children watch television and weight. The review also revealed that time media measurements of children to reduce lead to weight loss.

It is common sense that television is likely to make you heavier
This problem, however, does not need the advantage of numerous studies. It is common sense to expect that people who watch TV to be much more serious. Almost any other activity burns more calories than watching TV. Only sleep burns fewer calories. Read on the phone, a book, doing the dishes
